The Art of Cleaning Up - Ursus Wehrli

Friday, 2 September 2011

If you know me very well, you will know I am OCD about organising and cleaning. I do not feel my neurotic behaviour is distasteful in any way. In fact, I think it makes me a better designer and strategist.

So the other day whilst I was milling about the internet, I found a neurotic, after my own heart on Jeannie's site.

Ursus Wehrli, is a Swiss artist who takes objects, scenes and generally anything in a state of disorder and rearranges it into neat neurotic rows and structures, depending on colour, shape and size. The book entitled, The Art of Clean Up, is a follow-up of his previous Tidying Up Art books, where he 'tidied up' famous artworks, such as Van Gogh's room or Botticelli's beach.

You can view Ursus Wehrli on TED.

This video documents the behind the scenes process.

Ursus Arctos Horribilis could be the controlled label with regard to what is often called the actual grizzly bear. The actual grizzly bear will be ancient in order to United states. This can be found in Alaska, English Columbia, Alberta along with in modest pockets through the entire tremendous mountain aspects of western Us. It's a bass speaker species of Ursus Artos, often called the actual brown bear. Most of these has as soon as had any significantly better array ahead of much of it turned out overtaken by settlers and the common extension of human contemporary society. ''Ursus'' or ''canis''
