Have you seen the google graphic today?

You can also go watch the animation on youtube:

This google animated logo is to commemorate Martha Graham, a pioneer of modern dance in the United States of America. Her Martha Graham Dance Company has grown in to the Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance. Martha Graham was born 117 years ago today.

The animated logo was created by Ryan Woodward, a 'motionographer' and popular artist. The combination of both creative skills has resulted in an impactful and beautiful logo graphic. The images suggest classic shots of the dancer who contributed so much to the world of dance as an art form.

With his Doodle (Google animation), Woodward joins Graham's collaborators. His recent video "Thoughts of You" captures his motion and dance that may have been inspired by moves Graham pioneered. Here is the video:

It is also International Monty Python Facebook Status day. Here is my status: “I don't wanna talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper! I fart in your general direction! You mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!” Go change yours now!
