So at 4pm on a Sunday, when most people are lying drooling in some obscure half slump taking a nap, I was herded off by my sister to cooking school. If you know me, at all, I am a merry home maker and I know my way around the kitchen with the dexterity of a cosmic ninja. The decision to attend a cooking class was sparked by the birthday of my sister's beloved husband. 

The class was held at The Wicked Food Cooking School in Sunninghill, Johannesburg. We attended the Spanish cooking class. It was loads of fun and the staff was knowledgeable, warm and friendly. 

Flavours of the Spanish table consisted of: Garlic mushrooms and vegetable croustades (pictured above) for starters. For mains: Chicken in Almond sauce, stuffed peppers, poor mans' potatoes and a basic Spanish salad. There was also dessert- Orange and Almond tart, but I forgot to take a photo!
